Custom Shower Design
Best Bath handicap showers are all built in the USA and we create your custom shower design mold to exact specifications. The workers wax the mold and check it for any defects. Then, they build the shower in reverse, applying the exact right amount of gel coat; too much or too little can affect its performance.
Built By Hand
Next, craftsmen apply the unique barrier coat to the shower design by hand for a superior finish. This coat prevents the foundation materials from affecting the shine and requires careful application. Then, a specialist sprays millions of fibers embedded in polyester resin to give the shower strength. Craftsmen use a variety of different rollers to round the shower corners by hand, ensuring every square inch is covered. They always reinforce thresholds below 1.25” with steel studs.
Free From Defects
Workers add strengthening panels for even more durability, then hand-spray them in fiberglass and roll them. Once the shower cures, they inject air between the mold and the unit. Because the perfect shower design mold was first waxed, the blast of air makes peeling it off quick, easy, and without any scratches or blemishes. It can then be accented with color for a showroom look.
The factory finally assembles all handicap showers to ensure they fit exactly right. They level the shower pan bottoms with blue foam and check to ensure they are at the perfect slope.
